On Monday morning, I decided to wake up at 4:30 a.m. to drive an hour and fifteen minutes to catch the ferry over to New York to watch the sun rise over Vermont. It was a chilly seven degrees, but oh so worth it!
Sunset from beautiful frozen Lake Champlain… If you look closely, you can see the dog walking across the breakwater. The lake is beautiful all times of year. There is something so very peaceful about walking along the lake. It is one of my favorite things to do and always restores the soul.
