Lund Bicycle Tour 2014 Photos of Scenic Vermont

BY Lisa Friedman

On June 1st, I completed the 55 mile Lund Bike Tour. This was a fundraiser benefitting the Lund organization which helps at risk families in the Burlington area. It’s programs include counseling pregnant teenagers, adoption services, child care, school completion, substance abuse treatment which allows children to reside with their mother during the treatment process, and many more valuable services. It was very nice to support this organization with my riding. Click here if you would like to donate to help out this fine organization.

Here are some photos from the bike tour –

Shelburne with a little sliver of Lake Champlain on the left and the Adirondacks in the distance.

I love the way you can see the mountains on so many of our roads. I had to wait until all the other cyclists got out of the picture then pedal very fast to catch up to the group!

A red wing blackbird…

Red wing blackbird again…

A pond in Shelburne…

Speaks for itself!

If you can’t find the perfect home, build one yourself…

Kingsland Bay State Park

The cows say “Moo!” from Vermont!

A very stately looking rooster…

What splendid stripes!

Why did the chicken cross the road?

The next several photos are along Mt. Philo Road in Charlotte…

Until we meet again…
